Tackling Anti Social Behaviour Concern, Knives and Drugs |

Yesterday evening the Met police conducted Operation Martello/ Boaz at Ilford British Rail Station. The reason for this was to try and apprehend any person who may have been carrying any weapons like knives or blades. Also, there was a sniffer dog present to help detect any drugs on people. This also gave us the opportunity to engage with the locals who use the station on regular basis and give them reassurance that police tackling crime in the area.
